December 3-10th, 2019, a group of us travelled with Kelly Oswald, owner of The Oracle, and her husband, James, to the tip of the Baja Peninsula, Cabos San Lucas, Mexico.

Kelly’s friend, Adriana, helped chaperone us as we visited foundations assisting beautiful women and children living in poverty and often violence.

We participated in sharing a simple drawstring back pack pattern for the ladies to sew and sell, lunch-time feeding and clean-up at a local school, lots of playing, and handing out requested gifts of crayons and colouring books.

It was hard to witness the dichotomy of rich and poor — I knew it was there having visited Cabos before — but not to the extent I saw it this time. There is a marina full of million dollar yachts and a few miles away dirt roads, not enough food, violence and abuse. . .

As I learn to detach, to be the observer, to view everything as a movie, I find I Am able to move about freely, to do my Divine Service without being pulled down by the entrenched beliefs that can limit my ability to do the work I came to do.

Planetary Balance is Ascension

Ascension in form is us balancing within and therefore able to do the work without.

Bless the ones who courageously, knowingly, have been born into the physical poverty with the possibility of violence and abuse.

We are here to lift everyone up,
for gender equality to be reality here Now.

Repeating the Hawaiian forgiveness mantra, Ho’oponopono, is a way to come to understand the role worthiness plays in our world.

Generally, everything we see and hear, to every person we meet, we perceive as “out there.”

Rarely do we get that we have had a hand in creating everything.

It is even more rare that we take responsibility for it.

Reciting the Ho’oponopono mantra is a way to understand, and be that core responsibility, our innate essence of Love and worth, balance.

Saying ‘I Am Love and Worth’ sends a powerful message that we are mighty beings capable of coming to balance within, therefore creating that without.

Consistent daily meditation is a way to uncover, discover sacred purpose, in that heart space communication. . . and below is another way.

In my outer world an email from TELUS, one of Canada’s telecommunications providers, came with a message about online bullying awareness.

I discovered that TELUS is in partnership with over 7,000 Canadian schools helping provide access to the “We Rise Above” campaign and curriculum, an initiative to help teachers educate students on how to deal with cyberbullying.

As I dug deeper into this up came the story of a teen suicide, and a Mom who has traveled the world raising awareness of what happened to her daughter, Amanda Todd.

Within this post, ‘Our people are dying. . .’  is a candid look at Canada’s Vancouver Downtown Eastside, considered “the epicentre of the country’s opioid crisis. . . the deadly toll of fentanyl. . . laced into street drugs.”

“British Columbia has seen the highest drug-related deaths in the country.

“Last year alone, more than 4,500 Canadians died from opioid deaths.

“That’s one death every two hours.

“In the four years since the 2015 [federal] election, nearly 13,000 people have died of opioid overdoses.”

As I gaze at the video in the article I see many of our Indigenous brothers and sisters in the throes of extreme addiction, often brought on by family patterns of childhood trauma, harkening back to Canada’s Residential School era, and before that.
