
Today is April 16th and yesterday Notre Dame burned.
There is already a fund set to rebuild it.
Millions of dollars to go to reconstruction. . .
A thought: Could we put those millions to helping people and not to rebuilding a structure to celebrate God?
Does God and do tourists need another fancy structure when God is in our hearts and there are so many things for tourists to see?
Yes, it is sad when we lose an amazing building such as Notre Dame.
Who am I to say what could be done — but I Am, We Are — and when I look around the world and see the poverty, addiction, war, refugees, famine, should we not be addressing that before re-building this structure?
Maybe there is a reason Notre Dame burned.
Is it a symbol for us to wake up to the inequalities many face because of our outmoded ways?
