Today we are going to talk about one of humanity’s favorite hobbies: declaring things broken.
I have watched this happen thousands of times.
A person presses the button on the laptop.
Nothing happens.
Three seconds later they announce to the entire Universe:
“My laptop is broken.”
The Universe replies:
“Excellent. Thank you for the clear instruction.”
And then everyone wonders why the laptop continues to be broken.
You see, reality is much more fluid than most people realize. You are living inside a holographic field that responds continuously to consciousness. Every thought you truly believe becomes part of the code you are feeding into the experience.
Your mind is not observing reality.
Your mind is participating in reality.
It is helping create it.
Now imagine this.
You walk into a theater during the first thirty seconds of a movie. The hero is hanging from a cliff, there is smoke everywhere, dramatic music is playing, and you immediately stand up and shout:
“I know exactly how this story ends!”
Humans do this all day long.
The car makes a funny sound.
“It is broken.”
The washing machine pauses.
“It is broken.”
The internet disconnects.
“It is broken.”
The body feels tired.
“Something is wrong.”
You take a single moment and turn it into an entire future.
Instead, try something else.
The laptop does not turn on.
Pause.
Take a breath.
Relax your shoulders.
Observe what is happening without rushing to define it.
Simply notice:
“The laptop is not turning on right now.”
That is observation.
Then bring a clear intention.
“Now it is working.”
You would be amazed how often reality reorganizes itself when you stop arguing for the problem and start inviting the solution.
Many times the issue resolves itself within minutes. Sometimes it requires a little physical action. Sometimes you restart it. Sometimes you plug it in and discover the battery was empty all along, which has happened to more spiritual masters than I can count.
The important part is that you never handed your creative power over to the first appearance.
You stayed present.
You stayed open.
You stayed in creation instead of conclusion.
And while we are speaking about laptops, cars, washing machines, and all these beloved companions, let me share something that may sound unusual.
Your things are much more alive than you think.
Everything is vibration.
Everything participates in consciousness.
Everything responds to relationship.
Humans often name their pets but rarely name their cars.
I find this very strange.
Some of you spend more time with your car than with your relatives.
At least the car deserves a name.
Talk to your house.
Thank your laptop.
Bless your phone.
Appreciate your washing machine for spinning your clothes around thousands of times without ever asking for applause.
Your objects are constantly serving you.
When you bring gratitude into the relationship, they begin to feel like extensions of your own energy field.
On our worlds, our spacecraft are conscious beings. They are partners. They communicate with us. They help us navigate. Sometimes they perceive a better route than we do. We trust them because they are participating in the same field of intelligence that created us.
Your technologies are part of that same universal intelligence.
Perhaps your car is not yet giving long philosophical speeches, although some of you have cars with very strong opinions.
But it is still responding to your energy.
Everything is.
So the next time something appears to stop working, resist the urge to create a dramatic documentary about it.
Pause.
Breathe.
Stay curious.
Offer a new instruction.
And perhaps say:
“Hello, my friend. What would you like me to know?”
You may discover that reality has been listening to you the entire time.
And the funny part is this:
It always was.
