Since 1982, International Day of Peace has been celebrated around the world on September 21st. Last year, an estimated 500 million people commemorated this day.
In the video below,
we find, Avon Mattison, founder of Pathways to Peace (1) birthing the idea of a day of peace with Ban Ki-moon, a South Korean diplomat and the eighth Secretary-General of the United Nations from January 2007 to December 2016, asking humanity for a 24-hour global cease fire of all war, and for everyone to observe a minute of silence at 12 noon local time on September 21st.
At the UN, International Day of Peace was passed in 1981, and established in 1982.
In February, 2015, Archangel Michael, through Linda Dillon channel for the Council of Love, pleaded with us saying, “It does not need to take nations making decisions. It does not need to take decades or years.” (2)
He said what creates peace
is us claiming our creator selves
in sacred union with them, the Divine.

Our planet’s history is one of sorrow and fear, with this an ongoing human creation today.
Creating peace can seem like a daunting task as we witness starvation and illness in Yemen and Africa, the refugee crisis, the fentanyl crisis in North America and Europe, extreme weather patterns around the globe, war, pillage, rape. . .
Archangel Michael, in his Plea for Peace Now! Meditation (3) gave us huge clues how to create peace when he said:
“It does not need to take nations making decisions. It does not need to take decades or years.
“What it takes is you claiming your creator self in sacred union with us, and deciding right Now,
“Enough! We will proceed, and we will anchor — not merely as an act of will, as an act of creation — but an act of Love.”
From my understanding, the creation of peace in our world, begins with us Lovingly looking at, understanding the false grids and our core issues, the pain, sorrow and fear we unconsciously carry within.
Invoking Divine Beings and utilizing our Divine Authority, our Divine Will, to let go of everything not of love, in tandem with Universal Law, the Sacred Flames and our I Am, to discover Who We Are, Divine Beings, is an act of will, of creation, of Love.

When we stop daily to feel the pain, sorrows and fears, to see the patterns of behaviour we have created from the little phrases that we unconsciously and sub-consciously say to ourselves from early traumatic incidents, such as “I’m not wanted,” “I’m alone,” “I hate myself” (4) — transforming them to “I Am” statements, knowing that God is Love, and the Mother is never disappointed with us, that She forgives everything — we create peace within/without.
With our knowing that God is Love,
and that the Mother forgives everything,
I Am Love
I Am Trust
I Am Worth
we are anchoring peace everywhere we are.
Courageously delving into our past, feeling our fears and sorrows, discovering those insidious phrases, takes fortitude, but when we do this — with forgiveness, with Love for ourselves, and the situations we have created — we heal, and humanity heals.
Individually, as we heal,
our outer reality can heal.
In the interconnectedness
of everything,
we are One,
I Am Love,
self is All.

Seeing, feeling, letting go and understanding our pain, is us proceeding in trust, an act of will, and with our forgiveness of everything, this is the act of creation, the Love, that Archangel Michael speaks of in his Plea for Peace Now! Meditation.
As the Mighty One, Michael, Archangel of Peace, Warrior of Love, says:
“It does not take nations making decisions. . .”
We create peace, within and without, by “claiming our creator self,” in the Love, being forgiveness of everything, with conscious awareness of our wholeness.
