Building Nova Earth: Balance Within is Gender Equality

November 2017, Sanat Kumara, our Planetary Logos, talked to us through Linda Dillon, channel for the Council of Love, about gender equality and how to achieve this with the use of Universal Law.

As lightworkers gifted with information of how things work in the higher realms, we are coming to understand when we invoke Universal Law, we are working on all levels at once, from personal to family, friends, community to countries and nations.

With the elimination of the entrenched beliefs and the transmutation of our fears and sorrows within, we are addressing the issue of gender inequality, at the same time.

As within, so without.
Balance ourselves, balance the world.
Balance within is gender equality.

****

Below are several posts I found from around the world, illustrating our progress with gender equality.

I discovered that Sweden is one of the world’s highest ranking countries for gender equality, that Bollywood stars are speaking up about sexual misconduct in their film industry, and that Minnie Driver told The Guardian that men “simply cannot understand what abuse is like on a daily level.”

I learned that more than 300 female actors, directors, screenwriters and other entertainment industry people have launched a new campaign for gender equality in workplaces across the U.S. and that #MeToo has joined forces with Unicef USA to create #HerToo for the girls and women who suffer in silence.

Finally, I found a story of a woman who uncovered journals that her mother had kept hidden, filled with incredible daily angst, illustrating the importance of speaking up, of not keeping secrets about how we truly feel. . . the war in the silence.

****

Balance within,
gender equality within,
is our Nova Earth.

“War” — whether it is between friends, within family, communities, countries or nations — is us “being right” about something and holding on to that, being a “dictator” within to our self or others.

Working daily with our tri-flame, we can become consciously aware of insidious masculine and feminine patterns within.

Here is a meditation by Linda Dillon, channel for the Council of Love:

Apologizing to, and forgiving our selves within, is a way to balance.

We can do that simply by speaking in meditation
about past incidents to our feminine within,
our masculine within,
and from there
to our self.

From that place of balance — forgiveness of everything within — it is easier to apologize to children, spouses, relatives, friends and neighbours for the past:

I Love you
I’m sorry
Please forgive me
Thank you

Being in a constant state of forgiving is a Divine Quality.

In a personal reading through Linda Dillon, May 2015, the Mother explained to me that Nova Earth is built on apologies and forgiveness.

Balance is Love, honour, and respect
for our Divine Feminine within,
our Divine Masculine within,
all our aspects, our Self.

The integration of our aspects
is forgiveness of all our past lives
whatever our journeys have entailed.

The Mother forgives us for everything.
Our Ascension is us physically embodying
the Father and the Mother in form.

Gender Equality is One
of the Cornerstones
of Swedish Society

By Alexander Hagen, December 18, Dezeen

https://www.dezeen.com/2017/12/18/we-cannot-truly-serve-our-diverse-communities-if-we-ourselves-do-not-reflect-this-diversity

Dezeen’s gender diversity survey found that Scandinavian architecture firms have far better gender diversity than those elsewhere. Alexandra Hagen, director at Swedish firm White Arkitekter, explains why.

It was a mixture of curiosity and disappointment that I read the results of the Dezeen gender diversity survey. What I found particularly interesting was that two of the three practices with executive management boards consisting of more women than men were Swedish: White Arkitekter and Tengbom.

Sweden is one of the world’s highest ranking countries for gender equality. Our cultural environment today has stemmed from a 1972 government initiative to make equal opportunities between the sexes a central political issue. Today, gender equality is one of the cornerstones of Swedish society. The aim of Sweden’s gender equality policies is to ensure that everyone enjoys the same opportunities, rights and obligations in all areas of life – and I believe this is reflected in Swedish workplaces.

Bollywood Superstars Shah Rukh Khan
and Akshay Kumar: Women Speaking Up
About Sexual Misconduct is Overdue

Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan

By Leanna Garfield, Business Insider, December 15, 2017

http://www.businessinsider.com/shah-rukh-khan-akshay-kumar-twinkle-khanna-bollywood-sexual-assault-harassment-response-2017-12

In interviews with Business Insider, Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Twinkle Khanna say that a hushed culture of sexual misconduct exists throughout India’s entertainment industry.

Allegations against Hollywood mega-producer Harvey Weinstein have encouraged other women to detail reports of sexual misconduct.

Women in Bollywood are cautious to speak up, but some are starting to tell stories of sexual misconduct.

Hollywood has been roiling with claims of sexual misconduct ever since The New York Times and The New Yorker published accusations in October against mega-producer Harvey Weinstein. Since then, more than 50 women have accused him of rape, unwanted advances, and sexual harassment.

The avalanche of allegations has rocked the film and television world and has even seeped into other industries. In recent weeks, widespread discussions have sprung up among stars in Bollywood.

‘Cannot Understand What Abuse Is Like’

Actor calls former co-star’s remarks about ‘spectrum of behaviour’ in sexual misconduct ‘Orwellian’ and questions defence of disgraced comedian Louis CK

The actor Minnie Driver has told the Guardian that men “simply cannot understand what abuse is like on a daily level” and should not therefore attempt to differentiate or explain sexual misconduct against women.

Driver was discussing comments by Matt Damon, whom she once dated and with whom she starred in the Oscar-winning 1997 film Good Will Hunting. In an interview with ABC News this week, Damon said alleged sexual misconduct by powerful men involved “a spectrum of behaviour”.

300 Hollywood A-listers Launch Campaign
Against Sexual Harassment

CBC News, January 1, 2018

http://www.cbc.ca/news/entertainment/times-up-movement-hollywood-campaign-harassment-1.4469366

More than 300 female actors, directors, screenwriters and other entertainment industry players launched a new campaign Monday to battle sexual harassment in workplaces across the U.S. and to fight for gender equality.

The campaign, organized by a group calling itself Time’s Up, includes a $13-million (US) fund to provide legal and communications support to victims of workplace sexual harassment, particularly in more vulnerable jobs such as in the service sector, agriculture and manufacturing.

Among the donors to the fund, according to a statement from Time’s Up, are Hollywood actresses Jennifer Aniston, Meryl Streep and Reese Witherspoon, as well as producers Shonda Rhimes and J.J. Abrams, talent agencies Creative Artists and William Morris Endeavor, and filmmaker Steven Spielberg’s foundation.

“The magnitude of the past few months highlights the fact that sexual harassment against women in the workplace is endemic and touches every industry,” Tina Tchen, a U.S. lawyer who will co-lead the Time’s Up legal fund, said in a statement. “This is the first of many concrete actions we will take.”

We Created the #MeToo Movement.
Now It’s Time for #HerToo

By Tarana Burke and Alyssa Milano, The Guardian, December 21, 2017

https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2017/dec/21/we-created-the-metoo-movement-now-its-time-for-hertoo

The original #MeToo campaign aimed to support survivors of sexual violence who were marginalized. Now it’s time to speak out for women suffering in silence

2017 will be remembered as the year of #MeToo, a watershed moment when women came together to support each other in breaking their silence about sexual harassment and assault. When we learned Time magazine chose “the Silence Breakers” for Person of the Year, we were proud to know we helped convey a message as simple as it is profound: you are not alone. Sexual abuse is nothing new, but the sheer number of brave women who have dared to publicly share our most painful experiences of assault and harassment represent a groundswell, with new voices coming forward every day. It is a true reckoning.

And it’s a reckoning that cannot be solely for Americans. Violence against women and girls is a global pandemic. Nor can this moment in history belong solely to the Silence Breakers who have the opportunity to speak out. We all must speak out for those who can’t – for the girls and women who suffer in silence. Like the mostly hidden woman on Time’s cover, described as “an anonymous young hospital worker from Texas who fears disclosing her identity”.

This is why we have joined forces with Unicef USA to say: #HerToo.

‘My Parents’ Life Was a Charade.
Mum Hated Every Minute of It’

The Guardian, Chris Youle, Dec 23, 2017

https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2017/dec/23/mother-journals-parents-life-charade-torment

I was always aware of their existence; the journals. I grew up believing that all mothers wrote them and kept them in locked cupboards. They were mentioned with an air of mystery and intrigue, but never really bothered me. Until now.

My mother and father were respectable churchgoers, highly intelligent, well-read and deep-thinking people. They seemed to be kind to other people. They were always going to meetings. They were serious and always right. They cared about religion, politics, education, philosophy, the third world. They cared.

So why did I end up with no memories of being cared for from my childhood? Why was I in therapy for most of their last decade, struggling with resentment at having to care for them, and feeling that nothing I did was good enough?

There was clearly a great deal to untangle but, after years of hard work and soul searching, I felt able to stop therapy and “leave home as an adult”. My parents were in their 90s by then, and further deteriorating. Father finally died, aged 95, and Mother, a year later, at 96.

That was when I opened the journals. . . . Read more. . .

Why did I have no memories of being cared for?’ … Chris Youle with her mother

Chris Youle finished her post with this:

Perhaps that’s her message … be honest and authentic. I had the advantage of Spare Rib magazine, early feminism and women’s support groups to help me to articulate my feelings during my difficult years of motherhood. My children’s generation have social media through which to express their feelings and discuss their doubts, fears and discontents. So perhaps things have moved on.

I suspect my story will echo with many readers. I hope that things have indeed moved on and we no longer feel the need for secrets and lies within relationships.
